Hello!
My name is Alyssa Ehrhardt and I am currently a sophomore at Carleton College, studying biology. As a student in Hacking the Humanities, an Introduction to Digital Humanities course, I plan to use this website as a way to document my experience navigating the complex world that is the digital humanities!
Digital arts has been a long-time interest of mine, so I am very excited to use this website and this course as a way to learn new technological skills that I can incorporate into my digital art hobbies. I also believe that familiarity with technology is becoming an increasingly important part of every academic field. So, in addition to advancing my hobbies, I also want to learn practical tools I can use in my other classes, whether it is in the humanities or in STEM.
